Live : Friends and Scoreboards on the Web
Your Friends
When you sign in to the My Xbox Live Web site, you'll see your
Friends List and be able to identify immediately which of them are online
and which game they're playing. You'll also see if you've got any pending
game or Friend invites. If you see that your buddies are playing or you've
got some invites, drop the mouse and mosey over to the Xbox for some online
competition.
Your Scoreboards
Coming very soon, you'll also be able to check out tons of scores: yours,
your Friends', even your arch rival's! You'll see scoreboards for your own
scores, for the top 100 gamers, or for the 50 gamers above and below you on
the leaderboard. You'll even have the ability to do a customized search for
any Gamertag. Just think, you'll be able to verify that loudmouth smack
talker's score for yourself.
How do you get all this great info? Just
link your Gamertag
to a .NET Passport account. This will give you access to all the Friends and
scoreboard content. If you don't link your Gamertag, or you're not yet an
Xbox Live subscriber, you'll still be able to see the top 100
gamers for each game or enter a Gamertag to check out their scores.
This is just another way that Xbox Live
keeps the action and the gaming community going 24/7.
