We would like to clear up a few misconceptions regarding the production and

"After modding many many x-boxes I want to confirm it's true there is a new

Different connection for the control leads inside.small board is now missing
that the control leads plugged into.NEW DVD ROM USED PHILLIPS BRAND, not as
loud as the Thompson but still whats the point without a mod chip.
All mod chips I tried wont work.
I will put some pics here tomorrow.with the new bios number as well ! !
If you fit the evox mod chip the machine wont power up, it's just keeps
flashing, on/off no screen, no nothing.
Hope this is'nt a major setback in the mod chip world.
Seems all new AUSTRALIAN models are like this now."

Here is some more info:
"The largest hard drive capacity supported by the xbox is 137GB, since there

your xbox, and you can still view the contents of the disc on your PC.
Useful for development testing, or just general purpose.
XStream-Helper is basically a GUI and config.xml generator. What it does is
show a directory listing. You find the location of where your movies, or
mp3s are on your computer. Then you can launch Xstream console. Useful for
win98se users (like me). No need to worry about not having a config.xml,
like I said it gets auto generated.

XBMP Config Helper v0.1 released

I have
created this simple visual basic application which provides ease to the user
of creating the xbplayer.xml file. Too many people have trouble configuring
the xbplayer.xml, mainly caused by improper entering of installation
directories, so that is why this is here right now. The Visual BASIC code is
open source. Notepad and original xbplayer.xml not required ;) , enjoy!
No local download is available yet, however it's freeware, hopefully
sintex will get it up ;)

RelaX v0.3 released

RelaX
has been updated to work with Xbox Media Player 6, here what has been fixed
and added.
· Fixed timeout routines.. now u can
pause a divx for like 5 hrs and resume.. and it still goes on!
· Fixed files hanging (when xbmp doesn't
play the file it leave's the file open on the server and doesn't send a clse
command). So when another session starts it will close any previous
connection
· B6 Directory support (works with the
virtual directory introduced in v02!)
· Splitted up the main unit into several
other units. It was becoming way too big, and I needed clean cuts of
functionallity that I needed in the following feature.
· Added Windows NT service support (yeah
this was the feature i'm talking about)
